I was biking through Logan Square this weekend and happened upon a community garden at the corner of Altgeld and Sawyer. The plots are a group effort of folks rather than individual beds. Plants are grown for food and dyeing purposes. Awesome. If you are interested in helping in the team effort, email altgeld.sawyer.farm@gmail.com or check out their website. Garden gatherings are held on Wednesdays 6pm-7:30pm in the Summer.
