This morning I got to help count leatherback turtl

This morning I got to help count leatherback turtle nests and help one baby turtle out to sea. Was pretty cool. Also! It was sweaty and my mask was like a wet sock stuck to my face for hours. But I ll go back next week, possibly with a handkerchief that allows some air flow. Also, since leatherbacks are endangered, i can’t share photos related to the counting or helping, but here is some nice scenery 😊

This morning. I m so happy to see a bloom on this tubular looking red hibiscus (3rd photo). I started this from a cutting from a walk. I have noticed mor hummingbirds with introducing hibiscus and heliconias to the yard. 💚 #moreorganics
