The workshop, held in a beautiful Wicker Park kitchen, will demonstrate the cold-pack water bath method, for preserving vegetables from your garden, and any non-meat sauces and goodies you create from them! We’ll put up a batch of homemade spaghetti sauce or southwestern style posole (depending on this season’s garden production) and have a light meal of the same while the batch processes. You’ll leave with handouts, a pint of homemade goodies (serves 2), and the know-how to get started!
