French Breakfast Radishes

Having just received my latest Organic Gardening, I realized that I left the fabulous radish out of my cool season crops.  Luckily, this long cool Spring allows me time for the short season (about 3 weeks) radish, french breakfast.  I’ve only heard praise of this radish and am glad that it’s a little heat tolerant in case we get warmer the coming month. The salesman at Chalet on the North Shore assured me that he plants successive plantings of radish throughout the month of May.  If you love spicy, smooth, and somewhat butter texture, go get some french breakfast seed and let me know what you think!  Side note, they’re rich in iron, good news for most of us vegetarians.
