Philadelphia has character, small streets where residents put out their own little patches of green, and parks with wisteria and iris in bloom. Wisteria is a beautiful but vigorous climbing vine in the Pea family, Fabaceae. Look to Ohio State University’s Extension site for information on pruning and training. Phili is in zones 6-7, so again, it’s a breath of the future fresh air. Chicago will get warmer, I promise.
