The Best Way to Learn is to Do

Community gardens are a great way to introduce yourself to the mysticism of gardening.  If you don’t have a green space and want to get your hands dirty, take a look at Green Net Chicago for a garden near you.  You’ll work with more experienced individuals who can pass on their knowledge.  Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Chicago’s Green and Growing Fair at the Garfield Park Conservatory, April 30th, 10am-2pm, free admission.  There will be demonstrations, vendors, silent auction, and garden book sale.
